Circular Machine Knitting

🀯🧢 OKAY... WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT PANEL MODE ON THE NEW CAYDO CKM!

some time playing around with panel mode on the new Caydo CKM.

And you guys...

I AM IMPRESSED! 😁

One of the biggest things I wanted to see was what happened at the ends of the panel.

Would it behave itself?

Would I be constantly dealing with dropped end stitches?

Would I have to stand there watching every single row?

Well...

IT DIDN'T DROP THE END STITCHES! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

And rememberβ€”this is AUTOMATIC knitting.
The machine is doing the work while creating the panel, and I'm getting really nice, consistent tension at the same time.

That opens up SO many possibilities! 🧢

πŸ€” IS THERE A LEARNING CURVE?

Yes, a little bit.

I had to play with it and get a feel for how everything works.

But if you're already used to working with circular knitting machines, I don't think you're going to find it difficult.

It's more a matter of learning how THIS machine wants you to do things.

And once I started getting the hang of it...
Let's just say I started thinking about all the things we could make with this! πŸ˜‚

Shawls... wraps... ponchos... blankets... garments...

You KNOW my pattern-designing brain has already started working overtime. 🀣🧢

πŸŽ₯ AND YES β€” A VIDEO IS COMING!

I'm going to do a dedicated video on the Caydo panel mode so I can show you how it works rather than just tell you about it.

I'll show you what I've learned, what you need to know to get started and, of course, let you actually SEE that automatic panel knitting in action.

This is one of the features I was especially curious about when I first got the machine.

After yesterday afternoon...

I'm even more excited about it. πŸ’œπŸ’™

πŸ‘‡ What would be the FIRST thing you'd want to make if you could automatically knit panels on your CKM?
